Today was so special! I got to attend awards day for the class that I student taught. I was lucky enough to find a spot in the front row. I waved to my students as they walked in. When I looked up a few minutes later, I had 31 smiling children waving at me from the other side of the gym. I can't believe that the semester is over and that they are moving on to the next grade!
I was at the awards ceremony because my youngest niece goes to the same school as the one that I student taught in. She is also in the same grade. I am so proud of my niece for making it through this year, it has been a tough one for her.
