Tonight, while I was at an event for my nieces, I saw the lady who calls to request me for subbing at one of the schools. She told my mom and my sister about how great of a sub I am. It felt great to hear what she said. She told them that she checks with teachers to see how I did and that the teachers gave me great reports. She was also proud of how well I handled my first lunch duty the other day. I really hope that if I ever apply in that district that that lady is on the hiring committee. As a new sub, I am a little unsure of myself. I think that I do fine, but I am still learning. This feedback was exactly what I needed to hear.
